At what point do referrals produce more AURA than my own deposit?

Should a small depositor focus on referrals instead of adding capital?

Does the referral AURA cap out?

BULK AURA Under $500: Why Referrals Beat Deposits at Small Capital Sizes

TL;DR

Small deposits earn AURA proportionally via the formula USDC × time held — no minimum threshold to qualify, and early continuous holding maximizes the time-held multiplier. The referral program scales linearly regardless of deposit size: 1 AURA per $100 referred and held per snapshot, no cap. For smaller depositors, a strong referral pipeline can generate far more AURA than deposit size alone.

The worked example below uses the week 2 TVL snapshot ($27.7M) to illustrate the mechanics — the principle holds at any TVL: at current TVL, a $100 USDC deposit earns fewer AURA/week than it did at week 2, because the formula’s denominator has grown. That math changes as more capital enters the pool — your percentage of total USDC-days shrinks as TVL grows, so your AURA per dollar shrinks with it.

Referral AURA does not dilute.
